Scholarships

We want leaders, staff, and volunteers from across the region to attend our events and engage in our programs. If our fees are a barrier to your participation, scholarship funds are available.

We don't want cost to prevent you from attending a CNPE learning event that you could benefit from. We have dedicated scholarship funds that we can use to help you.

If you or your organization is a CNPE nonprofit member, and a scholarship of up to 50% will make it possible for you to attend a CNPE-produced event, please complete and submit our application form below. (If you need more help than that, just let us know.)

Scholarship Disclaimer:

Our aim is to extend our scholarship funds to benefit as many organizations as possible, enabling wider participation in our training programs.

Upon approval of your scholarship application:

  1. You will receive a unique code which allows one individual from your organization to register for a single event at a discounted rate.
  2. Please note that we may limit the number of scholarships awarded to any specific nonprofit to ensure broad distribution of opportunities.
  3. If circumstances change and the scholarship recipient can no longer attend the event, we kindly request you to notify us at least three days in advance. Failure to attend without prior notice could impact both the individual and the organization's eligibility for future scholarship opportunities.

If you are a BIPOC-led organization that is not a member due to the cost of membership, please contact us about a membership scholarship. We have received a special grant to fund membership opportunities for BIPOC-led organizations that meet certain criteria.

If you or your organization are NOT currently a CNPE member due to the cost of membership, please take advantage of our many “open to the public” opportunities that are available at no charge. These include:

  • Subscribing to the Nonprofit News, which highlights grant opportunities and other important news for nonprofits. This publication is available at no cost, by registering at the “Get our Newsletter” section here.
  • Participating in any of our regular community nonprofit events. These include community forums on elections that impact nonprofits, Community Activation Network conversation events, and more. You will be alerted to these events if you subscribe to the Nonprofit News or check our calendar here.
  • Important nonprofit resources – from draft conflict of interest policies to suggested binder materials – that we offer at no charge here. If you are a new nonprofit, you may also find these “Starting a Nonprofit” videos helpful.

We will review your application in confidence and grant scholarships based on the information you provide. (Note that we cannot grant scholarship help for special events that we don't produce ourselves. However, CNPE members may be eligible for membership discounts to these events. Please contact learning@cnpe.org. for details.)
